Basically, I love making art! All of my heart and soul goes into the practice each day. I am so thankful to the universe for providing me a job that I love. – Flavia Braun
Flavia Braun was born and raised in Sao Paulo, Brazil. There she worked for four years in an advertising agency. When she was 21 years old she packed her bags and moved to California, to study English. Two years later she got into Santa Monica Community College in Los Angeles, and started to study Graphic Design.
She received a scholarship at Miami International University of Art & Design and graduated for her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Arts.
With ten years of experience in writing, graphic design, fashion design and illustration, Flavia has been granted endless inspiration and an eclectic palette with which she creates with bright colors.
Today she lives and works as a full-time painter, illustrator, and freelance designer in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Flavia is most driven to create for causes and communities she believes in. Her artwork is her form of activism. She is involved in causes such as veganism, animal liberation and sustainable living.
The Brazilian artist has worked with several non-profits organizations such as Mercy for Animals, Animal Equality, Projeto Cidades Invisíveis Brasil and United Nations Brazil.
When she’s not designing, you’ll find her sliding in the sea, practicing yoga, gardening or making massive messes of health concoctions in the kitchen.
